GRAPE + BEAN offers single-origin, fair trade, and eco-friendly whole bean coffee and custom brewed coffee, roasted by Counter Culture Coffee. Our featured whole bean coffees are never more than days from the original roast date. We offer single origin coffees from all over the world, which similar to wine, offer different flavors and characteristics unique to the terroir where they are grown.

GRAPE + BEAN  features a selection of different coffees daily-- ask for the menu, and we grind and brew them to order in our Clover Coffee machine. GRAPE + BEAN is one of only 50 or so independently owned businesses to offer Clover Coffee and is the only location in the Washington DC area. We also serve a great selection of Devi Teas (ask for our Tea menu) which are unique, high quality, and responsibly produced loose teas--delicious! Ask about our BEAN of the month!

Earlier this year, GRAPE + BEAN  offered its first Coffee Cupping in partnership with Counter Culture Coffee (RSVP required). Similar to a wine tasting, but for coffee! This is a standardized method that coffee buyers use to evaluate the coffee they purchase purchase, from Africa to Indonesia to Central America, the practice is the same. We had a full house and we tasted, learned, and talked about the fragrance, aromas, flavors, and growing regions. We'll schedule another one soon so check back.
